About Locis
Locis is an AI-powered local tour guide built as a solo project. The app runs on React Native (iOS + Android), a FastAPI backend, Google Maps APIs, and Gemini - rapid responses powered by Gemini combined with a location sorting algorithm to find the best nearby places.
It's not on the App Store yet - that's what the waitlist is for. If you're curious about the technical side or want to follow along, reach out via LinkedIn or email.
